Gradient palette

Clear relationships button
Clears the alignment relationship of selected objects.
Show relationships button

Create relationships button
Creates an alignment relationship among selected objects.
Size vertical button
Makes each object the same height.
Distribute vertically button
Spaces objects equidistant from each other vertically.
Align right button
Aligns objects vertically by their right edges.
Align vertical center button
Aligns objects vertically by their centers.
Align left button
Aligns objects vertically by their left edges.
Size horizontal button
Makes each object the same width.
Distribute horizontally button
Spaces objects equidistant from each other horizontally.
Align bottom button
Aligns objects by their bottoms.

Aligns objects by their tops.
Object Info palette
Moves or resizes a selected object. Displays the dimensions of a selected object.
Library
A file containing graphic objects that you can add to your document. You can place objects in a library, as well as create and save a library.

Area for editing objects joined as a group.
Justified text control
Aligns text on both the left and right margins for a block effect.
Flush right control
Aligns text on the right margin.
Center text control
Centers text between the left and right margins.
Flush left control
Aligns text on the left margin.
Increase-spacing control
Click to increase spacing between lines.
Decrease-spacing control
Click to decrease spacing between lines.
Align-on (decimal) tab
To set an “align-on” tab, drag the icon to a position on the ruler.
Center tab
To set a center tab, drag the icon to a position on the ruler.
Right tab
To set a right tab, drag the icon to a position on the ruler.
Left tab
To set a left tab, drag the icon to a position on the ruler.
Text ruler
Contains controls for setting line spacing, tabs, and text alignment.
Graphic ruler
Displays the current object ruler and grid increments.

Corner/center control

Blend image
Adds intermediate colors between two high-contrast colors and creates a smooth progression.
Tint image
Shades the selection with the current fill color.
Darken image
Darkens the current selection or image.
Lighten image
Lightens the current selection or image.
Eraser
Wipes away portions of an image.
Paint bucket
Fills a contiguous area of similarly colored pixels with the current fill color, pattern, or gradient.
Spray can
Spray paints the current fill color.
Brush
